ConfigServer Firewall (CSF) Update Required

Dear Valued Customer,

We would like to inform you of an important security update affecting ConfigServer Firewall (CSF), which is commonly used on Linux hosting environments including Shared Hosting, VPS, and Dedicated Servers.

Security Advisory

A recently disclosed security vulnerability has been identified in older versions of ConfigServer Firewall (CSF). According to the vendor, multiple vulnerabilities may allow an attacker to escalate privileges and potentially gain root-level access to an affected server.

Affected Versions

Status Version
Vulnerable CSF 16.20-1 and earlier
Patched CSF 16.30-1 and later

Potential Impact

Successful exploitation of these vulnerabilities could allow unauthorized users to obtain elevated privileges, potentially compromising the security and integrity of the affected server.

Recommended Action

If you manage your own VPS or Dedicated Server, we strongly recommend updating CSF to the latest available version immediately.
